ZAZ-968A Zaporozhets - passenger rear-wheel drive car with a body type two-door sedan. It was produced in Ukraine in various modifications from 1971 to 1994.
The main difference between the ZAZ-968A and most cars of that time was the rear engine. To cool it, air was supplied through the side air ducts. For his rear air ducts, he received the nickname "eared" from the population. The car had a sedan-type body with two doors, so that in order to get into the rear seats it was necessary to fold the front ones. The seats themselves could be transformed into sleeping places. The interior was made of leatherette, and the instrument panel was made of plastic and polyurethane foam.
The external design of the ZAZ-968A model was copied (not counting the "ears") from the German car NSU Prinz IV (years of production 1961-1973).
In total, approximately 2500 cars were produced. The vast majority of them were operated on the territory of Ukraine.
Model made in China by DeAGOSTINI, 1/43 scale. The body of the model is made of metal, the rest of the material is plastic.
Model in good vintage condition. The model was kept in a special rack.
A perfect piece for collectors or as a gift for a child.
