Work on the ZIL-4102 began in the mid-80s, the new executive car was conceived as a replacement for the ZIL-4104 limousine (1978-1983), which had already begun to age by that time. At the initial stage, the project was supported by Mikhail Gorbachev - ZIL-4102 fit well into the context of the "wind of change", and one of the characteristics of the project was called democratic design.
Cars were taken as the basis for the ZIL-4102: the British Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit limousine, the Swedish Volvo 760 and the American Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine. As a result, the ZIL-4102 turned out to be something similar to these three models.
By 1988, two copies were made: black and gold. These cars served Mikhail Gorbachev and the top leaders of the Communist Party. The black car was given the nickname "Misha", the second - "Raisa" (Gorbachev's wife).
Model made in China by DeAGOSTINI, 1/43 scale. The body of the model is made of metal, the rest of the material is plastic.
Model in good vintage condition.
